Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 September 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Reflected Analysis (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, discloses and protects personal information when you visit jackmethod.com (the “Site”) or use its features, including creating an account, accessing member content, or contacting us through the Site.

Who we are

jackmethod.com is operated by Reflected Analysis, a business analysis consultancy based in Queensland, Australia. If you have any questions about this policy or how your information is handled, you can contact us here.

Information we collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Your name, email address, subject and message when you use the contact form on the Site
  • A username and email address when you register for an account
  • Any other information you choose to include when you email us directly

Information collected automatically:

  • Standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited and referring website, collected by our hosting provider and our analytics tool
  • Cookies set by WordPress for login sessions and, where used, site preferences (see “Cookies” below)

We do not collect payment or financial information through the Site — Reflected Analysis does not currently process payments online.

Account registration and access tiers

Registering an account creates a “Member” level account by default, using only the username and email address you provide. Some content on the Site is organised into access tiers (Member, Candidate, Certified) tied to our certification pathway; access above the Member tier is currently granted manually by us and does not involve collecting any additional personal information. If our certification program later requires collecting more information — for example, to verify completion of a course or assessment — we will update this policy before doing so.

Cookies

The Site uses cookies for standard WordPress functionality, such as keeping you logged in and remembering screen preferences. If you register an account, a session cookie is required for account and access-tier features to work. We also use Google Analytics (via the Site Kit by Google plugin), which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use the Site — see “Who we share information with” below. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect features like staying logged in.

How we use your information

  • To respond to enquiries submitted through the contact form
  • To create and manage your account, including access to Member, Candidate and Certified content
  • To send account-related emails, such as registration confirmations and password resets
  • To understand how visitors use the Site, so we can improve it
  • To meet our legal, security and administrative obligations

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising or marketing without your consent.

Who we share information with

We use a small number of service providers to run the Site. Each only receives the information needed to perform its function, and none are permitted to use it for their own purposes:

  • Hosting — EasyWP (a service of Namecheap, Inc.): stores the Site’s data and may process it on servers located outside Australia, including in the United States.
  • Brevo: sends transactional emails on our behalf, such as registration and password-reset emails and contact form notifications. Brevo processes the relevant email address and message content solely to deliver these emails.
  • Google Analytics (via Site Kit): provides us with aggregate website usage statistics. See Google’s Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • WPForms: the plugin that manages our contact form. Submissions are stored in the Site’s own database, not with a third party, other than as needed to email you a response via Brevo above.

If we use an automated spam-detection service (such as Akismet) on comments or forms, it may receive limited data — such as IP address and submitted content — solely to identify spam.

We do not otherwise share, sell or rent your personal information to third parties, except where required by law.

Data storage and security

Your information is stored on our hosting provider’s servers and protected by reasonable technical and organisational measures, including firewall protection, two-factor authentication on administrator accounts, and encrypted password storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold.

How long we keep your information

  • Contact form submissions are retained for as long as reasonably needed to respond to and follow up on your enquiry, and are periodically reviewed and removed.
  • Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active. You can ask us to delete your account and associated personal information at any time (see “Your rights” below).

Your rights

Reflected Analysis is a small business, and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) does not automatically apply to businesses of our size. Regardless, we aim to handle your information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. You can ask us to:

  • access a copy of the personal information we hold about you
  • correct any information that is inaccurate or out of date
  • delete your account and the personal information associated with it
  • explain how we’ve used your information

To make a request, contact us here. We’ll respond within a reasonable time.

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you may have additional rights under the GDPR, such as the right to data portability and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority; the same contact above applies.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example as the Site’s features — such as the certification program — develop. We’ll update the “Last updated” date above when we do, and note significant changes on this page.
